Kiddies Party Terms

Time slots available for kids’ parties: 10h00 to 13h00 | 13h30 to 16h30

We have 4 seating areas to choose from: Middle deck | Bottom Deck | Inside Deck | Top Deck

• You are welcome to supply your own cake or we can provide you with a contact number for our selected cake supplier.
• A snack platter can be arranged provided on the table. No snack platters from outside will be allowed. Please see our snack list
• The following décor items are included in this package and must be arranged/confirmed with the restaurant manager before the function (No Confetti allowed!):
  Tablecloths (Black or White only)
  Table Runners (Pink, Purple, Royal blue or Apple Green)
  Balloons (Pink, Purple, Royal Blue or Apple Green)
  
  
• The following are included in the package per child:
  Any of our kid’s meals on the menu x 1 per child
  1 x drink per child (Soda’s and Fruit Juice Only)
  1 x Party Bucket per child
  1 x Plain Waffle slice per child.

• The Kids Party package allows a minimum of 5 kids – This package will only be supplied if the Client makes a payment of R750.00 to secure the booking 5 days before the function. Full payment for confirmed quantity of kids must be made before the function date.
• Please note that any additional items / add-ons, that were not arranged before the function date will be charged on the function date, with your final bill – Makiti will not be liable for disappointments - if we are not able to provide the add-ons on the function date – due to short notice.
• Any other food items or drinks are not allowed to be brought in. All food and drinks can be ordered from our Menu. (The cake will be the only exception for this rule). Adults must order from the adult menu; adults are not allowed to order from the kid’s menu. Snack platters will not be considered as a main meal.
• Kids party minimum payment of R 750.00 will be forfeited in the case of a cancellation or postponement.
• No refunds will be made. If the minimum amount was not used for the party, the remaining amount will be forfeited. NO REFUNDS.
• Please ensure that you stick to your timeslot, as penalties can be charged if another party must be delayed.
• Makiti Restaurant and Waffle house will not be responsible for any loss, damage to personal belongings.
• Makiti Restaurant and Waffle House will not be liable for any injuries. Visit at own risk.
• No Mobile speakers/sound systems are allowed.
• Kids party cancellations will only be allowed 7 working days before the function. If you cancel within the 7 working days of the function – all funds paid will be forfeited.

Potjiekos Party Terms

Time slots available: 13h00 to 16h00 | 16h30 to 22h00

We have 4 decks to choose from: Middle deck min 20 pax - max 26 pax | Bottom Deck min 35 pax – max 40 pax | Inside Deck min 30 pax – max 40 pax | Top Deck min 50 pax – max 70 pax

• You are welcome to supply your own cake or we can provide you with a contact number for our selected cake supplier.
• A snack platter can be arranged provided on the table. No snack platters from outside will be allowed. Please see our snack list
• We provide juice for the tables; 1 Jug per 7 persons included (Fruit Cocktail or Orange Juice). And Pre-reception Sherry per Adult (included).
• Makiti Restaurant provides inhouse décor items (included) in standard package as advertised. (No Confetti allowed!) No décor items that will make a permanent damage to our furniture are allowed to be brought in.
• We can provide party buckets @ R 35.00 each (kids).
• The Potjiekos package allows a minimum of 20 persons – The booking will only be confirmed once the minimum payment of R3600 has been received. The full payment for confirmed guests must be made 7 working days before the function date.
• Please note that any additional items / add-ons, that were not arranged before the function date will be charged on the function date, with your final bill. Makiti will not be liable for disappointments, if we are not able to provide the add-ons on the function date, due to short notice.
• Any other food items or drinks are not allowed to be brought in. All food and drinks can be ordered from our Menu. (The cake will be the only exception for this rule).
• Potjie minimum payment of R 3600.00 along with additional payments will be forfeited in the case of a cancellation or postponement that is within 7 working days prior to the function date.
• If the minimum amount was not used for Potjiekos, the remaining amount will be forfeited.
• Please ensure that you stick to your timeslot, as penalties will be charged if another party must be delayed.
• Makiti Restaurant and Waffle house will not be responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings.

• This Package is not available on Sundays or Public Holidays.

A la Carte Party Terms

Time slots available for A-la-Carte Package: 10h00 to 12h30 | 13h00 to 16h00 | 16:30 to 22:00

• You are welcome to supply your own cake or we can provide you with a contact number for our selected cake supplier.
• A snack platter can be arranged provided on the table. No snack platters from outside will be allowed. Please see our snack list

• The following are included in the package: Jug Juice on tables (1 Jug per 7 Persons).
• The A la Carte Package allows a minimum of 10 people and the cost is R 700.00 (R70.00 per person), to secure your booking. On the day of your function a R 50.00 credit, per person, will be deducted from your total bill. The full payment for the total confirmed guests must be made 7 working days before the function date.
• Please note that any additional items / add-ons, that were not arranged before the function date will be charged on the function date, with your final bill. Makiti will not be liable for disappointments, if we are not able to provide the add-ons on the function date, due to short notice.
